You are invited to join Saint Mary's University of Minnesota at the FOURTH annual Student Symposium. This year, we will be featuring our first year of Doctoral Student Presentations.

The Program is applying with the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) to Offer Class A credits.

All symposium proceeds will go to the Saint Mary's Graduate Program in Nurse Anesthesiology Student Fund

Session 1 (08:30 – 9:30): “Certified Nurse Anesthesiologists in Global Health: A Crash Course with Focus on Anesthetic Equipment and Techniques for Low to Middle Income Countries.” Robbie Giomi, RN, CCRN & Kristen Martens, BSN, RN. Advisor: Rachel Edgerton, DNAP, APRN, CRNA (1.0 Class A CE).

Session 2 (9:30 – 10:00): “Assessing Airway Management Education in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU): A Quality Improvement Project.” Jocelyn Etten, BSN, RN, CCRN, Tenzin Lobsang, BSN, RN, & Ashley Wright, BSN, RN. Advisor: Leah Gordon, DNP, APRN, CRNA (0.5 Class A CE).
