The Bylaws Committee shall:
The Communications Committee is responsible for the oversight of all marketing, communications, social media, and public relations activities both within the association and externally. Communications committee partners with other MANA committees as needed to produce advertising content, and is the primary source of CRNA week coordination annually.
Diversity is a recognition of how we are different.
Equity is a recognition that individuals have different needs.
Inclusion allows everyone to be recognized.
DEI initiatives allow us to embrace the unique experiences of every CRNA in MANA. This will create an association that is best positioned to support its members. When we understand and embrace our differences, we can build a stronger association.
MANA is committed to supporting and advancing DEI throughout the nurse anesthesia profession in MN. If this topic interests you, please consider joining the MANA DEI committee!
The Finance Committee shall:
The government relations committee monitors state legislation and regulations that impact the nurse anesthesia profession. We build bipartisan relationships with legislators, the governors office, Board of Nursing, and external organizations. Our goal is to maintain Minnesota as a desirable state for CRNAs to practice and our patients have access to quality, affordable anesthesia care.
The Health and Wellness Committee is dedicated to planning activities that enhance the well-being of our members. Our goal is to create events that promote fellowship among SRNAs and CRNAs while introducing new activities that inspire a healthy lifestyle. We aim to foster connections and encourage members to explore new ways to improve their health and mental wellness.
Promotes member recruitment, retention, and engagement primarily through MANA Meetups, social engagements, and DEI initiatives.
This committee is responsible for oversight of the Friends of Minnesota Nurse Anesthetists PAC.
Supports current standards of nurse anesthesia by promoting continuing education for MANA members and assisting them in meeting the requirements for recertification. The main responsibility of this committee is to plan evaluate feedback from the membership and plan the fall meeting.
